Uploads the same picture several times; gallery then no longer displayed in post

    I am afraid I am not able to go through all the test steps recommended in the Please Read post. I am currently on the road in Tanzania and have only very rarely a stable internet connection, or good enough to work properly on the website. Also only have an iPad Mini to work on moste of the times, whioch also does make it not easier (problems with mobile versions and limits of the ipad).
    I have done all updates that wordpress showed me, but I still have the following problems with Next Gen gallery, and hope someone can help me:
    – If I upload pictures to an existing gallery, the upload goes well, but then when I check the gallery to manage the filenames, it is only one picture being uploaded several times
    – After doing any changes on a gallery (like trying to upload new pictures as desxcribed above), the gallery does no lonmger show up in the post where it was working fine before, and also the next Gen featured image from that gallery is gone in the post.

    Very, very glad for any ideas and tips. Sorry for not going through all the threads first, I really am a bit stressed as I know I am going to be out of Internet again in a few hours.

    @anne Schwarz – Unfortunately the functionality of NextGEN Gallery in iOS devices is relegated to what is usable from a “reader” perspective. Uploading images is not really feasible (this is a known issue we do not have a solution for yet) as well as other possibly related items.

    As much functionality and utility an iOS based device can provide, they are still not a reasonable replacement for something more robust such as a laptop or notebook computer … and I own several iOS devices, too.
