Uploads stuck

  • Dear All,

    I have been using WordPress for a long time and I thank all the people who have contributed to this project. I just upgraded to version 3.3 for my site, and it is really beautiful and clean.

    I like the new drag and drop file upload in the new version 3.3 but I found it strange that my upload of images was stuck halfway sometimes. Even with “Drop files here” and “Select Files”. When I used the old browser updater, it worked fine. Is it just me, or what am I doing wrong? My permissions are at 777.

    Hey there, I am using the latest version of Safari – 5.1.2 and updated to the newest Flash build available. I’m running OSX Snow Leopard. I keep them updated whenever the dialogue pops up. It’s strange… I’ve had the uploads stop at 13%, 26% and so on each time, but the upload never completes except in the old browser uploader. My files are only a few hundred KBs large, not more than 8MB, and no error message comes up.

    I seems to have exactly the same problem, using Safari 5.1.2 on snow leopard as well…

    Thank you for the idea for trying other browser, it did work in FF.

    Strange problem indeed! I tried it with Google Chrome and the problem goes away… I cannot begin to understand why this problem should persist, because a large amount of people on the web use Safari. It seems the problem also occurs on Internet Explorer…
