• Hi Alan,

We changed our default WordPress uploads folder. It is now jewelry-making, off of our root, instead of wp-content/uploads. We verified that it is working – we can upload media to this new folder, using the media library in WordPress. But, on the Media Library Folders page, it shows the location as “uploads” and it’s not showing any new media that we’ve added to the new folder. How do we make it so that the location is jewelry-making, instead of uploads?

    Thank you for your help.

    Cara

Since you have changed the settings, you will need to reset Media Library Folders. Deactivate Media Library Folders and activate Media Library Folders Reset and run the Reset Database option from the Media Library Folders Reset sub menu in the dashboard. After that, reactivate Media Library Folders. It will do a fresh scan of your media library database. Then you can deactivate Media Library Folders Reset.

    Hi Alan,

I can’t thank you enough! That worked perfectly. I am going to purchase the pro version of this plugin today, so I can use the folder tree UI when editing pages. Would you be able to contact me if you find a fix for showing the entire title of a file, instead of just two lines? Our file names are really long, and it’s difficult not to see the entire name.

Thank you, again! You’re support is outstanding. : )

    Sincerely,

    Cara
