Upload/Insert media, Progress bar not working

  • Hi,

    Basically, whenever I try to upload a file (In this case, a PDF) via the Upload/Insert button, the progress bar will jump to 100% as soon as you have selected your file. If you leave it for a few seconds it then goes onto the next screen (The one where you can choose its URL, title etc). So the file IS uploading, but no progress is being displayed.

    Now, here’s the thing! This only happens in Internet Explorer 9, while working perfectly in Firefox. I’ve tried it on 2 separate computers using IE 9, but still no luck!

    It is running the latest version of WordPress and I have tried deactivating all plugins.

    Does anyone have any suggestions? I really am lost as to what could be causing this. Help with this is appreciated.

    Anyone? This doesn’t really effect me directly, but a client uses IE 9, so it would be ideal if I could find a solution to this rather than saying “Just wait a few seconds for it to upload…”
