Uploading wp theme/ live preview

  • So i uploaded my wp theme successfully however when i try to do the live preview I get this error does anyone know what it means or how to fix it?

    500 Server Error

    A misconfiguration on the server caused a hiccup. Check the server logs, fix the problem, then try again.

  • There may be some problem with the theme that you have installed.Please check by switching the theme to any wordpress default theme(2013,2014,2015).

    If the error still persists then you will need to contact your hosting provider.
