uploading translation doesn't work

Hello i uploaded my storefront-pl_Pl.mo file in to the /wp-content/languages/themes folder, but it doesn’t seem to work.
I wanted to have translated string: ‘item’ and ‘View your shopping cart’ in the site header cart menu. Any ideas?
