uploading themes to word press

  • Hi new here. I cant figure this out for the life of me. I recently purchased a lifetime premium membership from Template Sold. So then i downloaded the template and i tried to upload the zip file in the themes window. It would not do it. So i read in the knowledge base at template sold that you need an FTP client to upload to word press and…the plug ins must be uploaded separately. i think… So i download the free FTP software File Zilla but i have no idea what to do here to get my software downloaded into file zilla (i guess that’s what i have to do)then to upload it into word press. Is there any step by step instructions here as i could not find this kind of hold my hand, step by step instruction from Template Sold.com. Or for that matter here on WP forums. Can someone give me a hand here. I would be graciously indebted. thank you in advance

    Thank you but i’m just a dumb head when it comes to this stuff. I found this link you gave me before but i cannot figure how for the life of me, How i get my down loaded file into the FTP client and how to , click by click to do this. which means I wasted my money buying this memebership if i have to do all these steps to change or add themes and plugins. I have no patience or time to learn this stuff. I just need a few simple step, point and click and its loaded that is what i can do. I just don’t get why this had to be so hard and that Template Sold sells this stuff without a step by step video instruction or something. I just don’t understand how to do it. I have Cpanel and i have the FTP. I just don’t get how to get the download file into my FTP or what to do with it once its there. Any one in my boat here. The the instruction just seem to be for someone who has done this before.

    Try reviewing the documentation for Filexilla: https://wiki.filezilla-project.org/Documentation

    Or use the File Manager in cPanel.

    Template Sold sells this stuff without a step by step video instruction or something

    I’m afraid that this is something you need to take up with them.
