    Hello there,
    It is a title complicated; when I am trying to upload the back up files the plug-in trying to upload it trough media files and getting error such as “for security reason this file upload not allowed, maximum upload size 1 MB”. While my file size is about 35 MB. There is no clear instruction and documentation about these errors!?

  • Hi @amir19

    Could you please check by changing the upload limit and post size in the server.

    upload_max_filesize = 40M
    post_max_size = 45M

    Please let us know if any issues after that.

    Hello I have the same problem. Max upload through Media Gallery is 25MB. If using FTP to upload the package file, where should I upload?

    Hi @tabyp

    Plugin will browse file through media library only. If uploaded by FTP, there wouldn’t be an entry in media library. Could you please try increasing the upload size limit for the time of uploading the backup.

    Hi,

    thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately I can’t touch those settings as I’m trying to create a dev copy of a website for a client.

    Hi @tabyp

    I that case, you may overwrite any zip file that is already there in the media library with your backup zip, then browse through media library. I hope that will do the trick. Please leave a review if the plugin/support was useful.

    By the way in which directory should we upload the “Migration Package” through the FTP?

    1.Upload a smaller zip file into media library.
    2.By clicking on that file, you can get the Path of that file.
    3.Upload the backup file with same name and replace in the above location.
    4.Browse the file from media library.

    Please check and let us know how it goes.

    Thank you for the prompt reply,
    The Path Was this:
    https://carcare.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/
    The FTP software said “no such file directory”
    so I uploaded the “Migration Package” to this path:
    /carcare.com/htdocs/wp-content/uploads/2018/06
    And it still didn’t work?

    I can confirm the replacing a smaller file doesn’t work

    Hi @amir19

    Have you replaced the file through FTP and it’s listing in media library.?

    I have checked the Media Library, The files That I have uploaded through FTP, do not exist in Media Library!

    Hi @amir19 @tabyp

    Have you uploaded file in the same name and FTP tool asked for rewrite existing?
    Could you please share more details here in our support. So we can check this in your site.

    Yes I have. I tried twice. Both time I choose overwrite/replace. But I noticed that it then renames (add a 1 to the end of it) the original smaller zip file.
