Uploading Templates-Need Advice

  • I have tried several, well- many times to upload one of WP’s themes but cannot get it to upload as a complete file-just 31 files and no folder to put them in. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? Thanks

  • you need to create the folder if you are not actually uploading the folder and the contents.

    This is a very rudimentary task.

    and if the theme consists of 31 files, then you upload 31 files.

    Hi Whooami,
    I understand this might be rudimentary function, but I am hoping to understand why I cannot upload the Theme folder with its contents to my host. The only thing that uploads is the 31 files for the Theme and not the folder that once contained the files. I have read the read me file and that gets confusing for me at this point in time.
