Uploading Plugins Ends at "Unpacking…"

  • I can’t upgrade to 3.1 nor can I upload any plugins to my WP site. It starts to upload and then stops at “unpacking…” Nothing more. Just sits there and breaks most of the page until I refresh or find a way to navigate out with the limited links that are live.

    Ideas?

  • Check the file permissions to see if the ZIP archive can be unpacked. If the permissions are alright, check with your web host if PHP can unpack ZIP files.
