Is there an interface where you can upload pictures . I’ve looked everywhere, and can find only the IMG button where you can add the link of the image.

    Thanks

i believe that the upload link that gets printed include an extra ; near the beginning of the link. just remove the ; and it shoudl work.

Thank you! I worked. I wonder where that extra colon (;) is coming from?

Thanks for the info. I found the upload feature.

To find the Upload feature I had to go to Options, then to the Miscellaneous tag to allow the upload feature. Then I had to Chmod 777 the folder wp-content.

Now you can use the upload feature. However one problem i have is that the code that it generates has a “/” in the front of it, which I have to remove when pasting the code. Also the Upload feature asks you if you want to generate a thumbnail, which is great, but then it doesn’t give the user any options in how they can incorporate the thumbnail. Any suggestions? thanks.

the thumbnail is in the wp-content directory, like this:

    (~/www/wordpress/wp-content)$ ls -lrt *0190*
    -rw-r–r– 1 nobody nobody 5914 May 31 20:04 thumb-DSC_0190Small.JPG
    -rw-rw-rw- 1 nobody nobody 44404 May 31 20:04 DSC_0190Small.JPG

for the life of me it is painstakingly dreadful having to add a photo to a post…obviously a newbie…i’ve used blogger.com and it’s sooo easy to do this, why isn’t it here?
can someone please help without the “tech” instructions..
    thx a million….
