Uploading photo's into the library

    Hi, Im a virgin, this is my first time

    I am unable to upload images. I have read through and tried many of the suggestions:

    Setting permissions to 755
    Clearing caches on the browser
    Deactivating plugins

    I dont get error messages but all I’m able to see is a grey box with a smaller box inside or to the top right (representing the image). if i press edit, i get to see the image but then nothing when i go back to the library, even after trying an edit.

    This has been going on for over a week and I’m beginning to wonder why people like wordpress!

    I appreciate I am a beginner but this is supposed to relatively simple

    This morning I thought “I will use Safari instead of Chrome” and I managed to somehow upload 1 image. Then I tried again and it reverted to the same problem.

    What am i to do?

    Heeeeeeeeelllllp? PLEASE

    Hey davidcox are you uploading through the media library Tab, or by the post/page media selector?

    Hi, I spoke with my host and they have done something which has helped. However, in answer to your question I was using the Media Library Tab, not sure what the post selector is ??
