Uploading photos

  • I’m having problems uploading photos into my posts from my computer – no problems getting photos from library.

    Here’s the message I’m getting when trying to upload.
    Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2015/01. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    And stories that are already posted or ones I have posted recently have these errors as well.

    – Try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767, 775 or 777.
    – Once your uploads are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again (very important for security reasons!) and check that everything still works OK
