Hi have you thought of zipping those files? That should help you.

Yes, thanks: it’s exactly what I’m doing in this moment, but it’s bothering. The User should de-zip it, and it’s not straightforward. I’m asking why the plug-in doesn’t allow the uploading, or the admin control of any type of files!

Hi, do you know if you have any security plugin that might be stopping your from uploading some file names?

Mmm… Interesting question. I have no other plugin dealing with uploads. So it seems to me improbable that some piece of software negates the upload using “Simple Download Monitor.”
Of course I should go inside the PHP and see if, or where this check is made, but it doesn’t seem a solution to me.

Hi, I carried out some more testing. This is not a plugin issue, this is WordPress restricting uploading of certain files for security reasons. Please read the following instructions.

Since this is not a plugin issue can you mark this support thread as resolved unless you have more questions to ask.

    Thank you
