Uploading media: "Failed to write file to disk."

  • I only opened my blog this week and have posted something everyday, including pictures, but tonight I keep getting an error message “Failed to write file to disk.” whenever I try to upload media. I don’t think I changed anything since last night, how do I fix this? And please make it simple, I’m very new… :/

    Contact your hosting provider about this, it sounds like either you have reached your hosting account’s space limit or there’s a server misconfiguration.

    I get this problem too. I am using AWS EC2 with apache. Anyone know how to fix this even file permission for wp-content/uploads is 755 or 777. I checked my permissions is 755 by command line stat -c %a directory
