Uploading media after giving WordPress its own directory

Hi,

I followed the Codex instructions on how to give WordPress its own directory, and everything has been working fine. Except that when I try and upload images to a post there appears to be a bug.

I upload the image properly and the interface then shows the image as being broken, but because it is linking to ./[directory]/wp-content/uploads for the image. Rather than ./wp-content/uploads where the image has actually been placed.

Is there any way around this? Just because at the moment WordPress just shows broken links for all the Media I’ve uploaded? (And while the workaround to just remove the [directory] name is fine, when browsing the Library it makes it difficult to remember what each image is).
