  • You might consider an Amazon s3 account and upload the files there. No minimum fee and it’s literally pennies a month for anything less than a few GB.

    put the following lines into your .htaccess file. This only works if your host allows PHP settings to be overriden in the .htaccess file. If it doesn’t work, you’ll have to ask your hosts if the limit can be increased, or if you have your own version of the php.ini file you can edit.

    php_value upload_max_filesize 20M
php_value post_max_size 20M
php_value max_execution_time 200
php_value max_input_time 200
