    One other thought I had this morning was to delete EWWW IO completely (removing the ewww-image-optimizer folder and the wp-content/ewww folder), and try to reinstall it from the repository to see if that helps.

    Did you ever get anywhere with Bluehost? I never got a response from them, which is a bit surprising.

    Ok, so apparently Bluehost support was just really backed up, I just got a response today. They want to know if they can attempt to replicate the issue themselves on your account?

    So I just updated to 2.1.0 and everything seems to be working again without issue. Not sure what you did with this latest release or if BlueHost did something as part of a recent server upgrade, but it’s all good now.

    Glad to hear it. I wonder if they fixed something, because I don’t recall changing anything in 2.1.0 that would have that kind of effect (I even double-checked the changelog to be sure). Happy Optimizing!
