  • It might be the Hosting set-up. Can you give more details.

I am not getting any more details. I try to upload an image and a red bar appears above the upload box that says only HTTP Error.

And its still happening. It worked fine a few days ago and I never changed anything on the Hosting

I’m saying that your Hosting service might be to blame and that they changed something. It could be a file permission thing.

And when they say it must be WordPress? I am left in the middle.

Update – when I am in the Media Library I see only a black and white document icon, no thumbnail for the new images but the image file name is there and thumbnails for all of the older images.

But, when i am in Page editor and try to add an image to a new widget it seems to take, I can see a partial of the image, but then in Preview mode the image does not appear.

    ??

Is your development environment a clone of the production site? Does it have all the same plugins active etc? If it does then I’d do a manual update of the core files.
