Uploading images

Set the permissions of the upload directory to 777 (CHMOD 777).

I had a similar problem and did a UNIX chmod that didn’t resolve my problem (folder permissions)

Then I downloaded
CyberDuck
for Mac OS X and just changed the folder permissions for ‘wp-content’ (which is where I’m keeping all of my images) from there. Worked like a breeze.
