Uploading GIF animation with Dashboard

  • Hi,
    Is it possible to upload GIF animations using the dashboard menu.
    It keeps giving me “HTTP ERROR” and fails the upload.

  • If should be possible but I wouldn’t advise it as the auto-generated smaller images may not be animated. The error you are currently seeing is commonly caused by an over-aggressive configuration of your server’s mod_security module. Try asking your hosts about it.
