uploading from Lightroom

I’m tired of poking around. I downloaded Nextgen Gallery thinking it would upload photos directly from Lightroom. Don’t see it. What upgrade/app/other am I missing? I see Nextgen Gallery Export plugin ($15). Is that it? I see upgrading to Nextgen Pro ($99). If I have to download something outside my admin page, how do I get it over to WordPress? I need simple instructions to do what I want to do. Please help.
