Am Attempting to upload an image from my computer (never had trouble in previous versions) and it keeps saying, attempt failed–please try again later.

How large are these images? Can you check your site’s error logs for a more specific error message?

Very small-size, 39.8 KB…that’s the only message. would like to get back to 3.4.2–the new format for uploading in 3.5 is clearly not functioning.

It’s working for the other 5+ million WordPress 3.5 users, so whatever the problem is, it’s specific to your site. Can you check your site’s error logs for a more specific error message?

I’m on my dashboard–how do I find error log?

It’s not in WordPress. It’s usually part of your hosting package. Try asking your hosts for assistance accessing it.

Oh, please, i don’t want to have to go through all that kind of process. This is holding up my daily posting–can i get back to 3.4.2???

Do you have a pre-upgrade database backup?

no…am on the phone now (waiting forever, of course)for tech help with my host…never should have upgraded to this one–things were working just great..till now.

Without a pre-upgrade database backup, you cannot roll back to 3.4.2

Have been there and back and come to find out, it was some unique irregularity in the file itself that was inhibiting its transfer.

    thanks for the help
