Uploading files from Media Library fails

    I just installed XAMPP on Mac Mojave and everything works fine except that I’m unable to upload files from my WordPress admin Media Library.

    Here is the error I get:

    The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2019/08

    I tried to set permissions to the uploads folder using sudo chmod but no luck.

    Any idea? Thanks
