Uploading files directory changes each month.

    How can I set the upload directory to never change? I’ve designed a software app that requires a file is downloaded, but the directory changes each month if I keep the file updated. Is there a plugin I need or is there a setting in WordPress? I searched plugins but they seem to be for page visitors to upload. I don’t need those.

  • i don`t uderstand very well your question, what data do you need to extract with your software … if you speak about media files, you can still choose whether or not you want uploaded files to be organized in month/year folders in Settings ? Media.
