Uploading files?

  • I am new to all this. I am not blogging for my result. I am trying to redo my site featuring my articles and my pictures. I have installed most things I need now. But I am not seeing how uploading of a file works?

    I tried uploading a picture on my desktop, and it is showing on the admin page. But, I cannot make it appear on the page. I cant yet see how to design my text and picture layouts. I also have not had success yet putting in a file name in the text fields as that seems not to post either. And that isn’t very intuitive it would be nice if there were a link to the graphic file to set it to.

    Can someone prod me in the correct direction please? Thanks very much.L
