Uploading a Free Report

I have a website build on wordpress.com (self-hosted) and I want to make a squeeze page or an opt-in page offering a FREE Report or FREE video!
Can you please tell me how I do this, ie if I make an opt-in page and have a ‘Click Here for Free Download’, how do I upload it to enable them to download when they click on the button.

Also, how do I subscribe to RSS Feeds? I have a website on anxiety disorders – can you help.
