Uploader Question

    I have been using NextGen for a long time. One of the accessory plugins I use is a public uploader that drops a photo into a gallery where it is checked waiting for moderator approval. When it is approved it automatically becomes part of a gallery that is a slideshow that plays next to the forum in the sidebar. Our forum allows anonymous users. This way we can safely view photos before we allow them to play in the slide show. The plugin has not been updated and is being deprecated. I have to remove it.

    This plugin looks really nice and I am wondering if it can perform the same function, anonymous uploads into a gallery for approval and the gallery can be set as a slideshow in a sidebar widget.

    Unfortunately, the Photo Gallery plugin does not have the mentioned functionality yet. However, the feature you wish to have would be a great addition. So could you please add your suggestion to our Submit Your Idea page?
