• Hello,
I want to create two instances for uploading; one is to upload the files to the webiste, the other is via ftp to my home server.
So I created a first instance for the website https://kanzlei.wente.de/datei-upload/. In the backend it was displayed as “instance 1”. When I clicked on “Edit”, the next page header said “…Shortcode Composer for Uploader ID 1”.
After testing the first instance, I created a second instance. But the second instance for https://kanzlei.wente.de/dateien-upload/ became the first instance, which I found very irritating. Ok, I learned when you create a second instance, the first instance becomes the second, and the new one becomes the first, and you should edit the first instance and not the second. However, when I clicked “Edit” on the new first instance, the header of the next page said “…Shortcode Composer for Uploader ID 1”. And now I cancelled the edit because I’m afraid to spoil the settings of the working second, original first instance.
Could you please clear this up?`

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi, are the two instances on the same page?

    No,
https://kanzlei.wente.de/datei-upload/ (instance created first but called second) and
https://kanzlei.wente.de/dateien-upload/ (instance created second but called first) (note the the difference: the en at the end of datei (en indicating plural, like the s in files)

What I did after posting the issue:
In the Basic Functionalities I changed manually the Plugin Id of the first instance to “2” so the header now reads “Seite Dateien-Upload: Shortcode Composer for Uploader ID 2”. I did amend the settings and it works.

Perhaps I misunderstood the concept of “instances” and their numbering, however that has been caused be the re-numbering system, i.e. that the instance first created became # 2 as soon as I created a second instance.
