  • My plugin does not have a direct way to edit avatars in the front pages. You can use it in conjunction with other plugins such as Theme My Login and WP User Frontend.

    I’ve tried that too.
the problem is that it won’t work that way either. It will show the button to edit/remove the avatar image, but it won’t work. Nothing happens when I press the button.
It would be great if you could make this possible via frontend, especially without needing any other plugins.
if its still not possible, maybe you can provide a way, in backend, where a user can edit his avatar, having on the page only your plugin, not all the other WordPress settings.

If the edit/remove buttons aren’t working, then it’s likely a JavaScript error. I found a bug which I fixed in my plugin, and in some cases the error wasn’t caused by my bug but by another plugin or the site’s theme. I can’t know for sure why it doesn’t work on your site without more details.

If you’d like to hide certain fields in the edit profile page, I found this plugin that you may find useful: Hide User Profile Fields.
