Uploaded Versions

    Hi there,

    Sorry to bother you again. I was just wondering as to what the purpose of the Initial Version was? I’ve attempted using it, as it would be handy to just place new versions of documents on there, but no matter what version number I use it does not display that information anywhere (from what I can find?), and the previous document remains in place. Is there, or would there be a plan for, an archiving sort of feature where we could upload various versions?

    Many thanks again. Great plugin. Going to look at upgrading if I can get the company using it.

    Hello,

    The DMS Pro plugin has version control and will allow multiple versions of the same document. In the free plugin, the initial version has no real purpose.

    I would really like to get more information on the version control capability. Does it automatically generate version numbers when new versions are uploaded? Are point versions (1.1, 1.2, etc.) created prior to publishing and full versions (1.0, 2.0, etc.) created upon publishing?
