Uploaded To Column Not Always Populated

I’ve noticed in the Media Library that I don’t always have the “Uploaded To” field populated even though the image is attached to a post. I can’t figure out why. I thought it might be the order in which I uploaded the media file etc, but I can’t find a pattern.

Is there anyway to “force” the field to update? Or does anyone know what causes this issue?

I know if the image is used in multiple places, I’ll only show 1 reference. However, I’m also assuming the field should show the parent page. Right now, it looks like I have a bunch of orphans.
