uploaded theme has no content

What theme?

tried a few, the last one was ‘point”

Have you added any content, images, menu itmes, etc to your site?

One thing to rememeber is that very few themes will “set up” a site for you so that it’s pretty much ready to go. The biggest reason for this is that if you’re installing a theme on a site that’s already set up then you’d be adding things to it that just aren’t needed.

I think that the answer for you will be that you need to add these things yourself. That’s how you get your site set up the way that you want it to be, and not the way that someone else thinks will work for you.

that could be the reason, I’m new to WP. So you are saying that when you load up a theme it doesn’t come in with any content; no images; no menu; no ipsom text? I had one theme that had content then the next couple didn’t which threw me

I don’t think that’s right – I just went to the theme website and downloaded it and it has all the photos in the file. then when I upload it to WP it doesn’t show

Then you’ll need to ask at that website. Unfortunately we can only provide support for themes downloaded form this websites theme area. The other sites should have a support forum or ticketing system for you to use.
