Uploaded picture not showing in insert media library

  • For several weeks I’m downloading the same pictures with the same resoults.
    When I need to add picture to the page I click add media, is nothing there. Nothing in all media or uploaded to this page (there are already several pictures on this page), or images or unattached. So I go and upload file from my computer, attached to media file.
    There is picture on my page. When I go to media again I see this one picture.
    I went back to my page and click update. Now I go again to media and there is no picture in media library in any place. Just disappeared.
    I was advised to remove all pictures from my WordPress (already translated to 2 languages) delete all uploads in the 1and1 server from explorer. I had delete all WordPress and installed again. In mine time on the server from about 20 pictures it multiply to at some point 350. I did not checked how many I have now. Do I need to hire Sherlock Holmes, or somebody with crystal glass? I have another WordPress 4.0 it works fine. Please help

    I forgot to mention that according to my program I have checked
    Media attachments
    Duplicate uploaded media to translations.
    Pictures definitely are duplicate on my server but not to WordPress where I have to upload file each time again and again. I was going to translate my website to few more languages but I can not get over with this glitch.
    I did checked permission code on the server and for all uploads there is code 604. Any idea if this has something to do with problems with media?
