uploaded media not visible – sort of

when I upload media files I can see the progress bar, but the pictures are not visible when uploading is done. There’s only a very small generic kind of icon to be seen, and the picture can not be included in a post. When I go to the media library however and click on that little icon, the picture is visible.

Problem started – I think – when I deactivated and deleted the “BackUpWordPress” plugin. I seem to have a sort of .php error flash by, but only once, not since. Pictures that were in the library and included in posts before the problem remain unaffected.

Pls refer to post titled “Nog een laatste test voor de site met echte inhoud wordt verruimd!” on this page. Featured image has been uploaded but is not visible, and in the post itself there’s supposed to be a picture between the 1st and 2nd paragraphs.

I’m using Clear Line Theme 1.0.8
