Uploaded Images not displaying on desktop or mobile

    Can anyone please explain why my images are not showing up in ANY of my posts on either desktop or mobile? Is this some new thing that’s been removed from theme.
    I’ve even tried using the “featured image” and it DOESN’T WORK!

    I have a membership website and rely on posting charts, etc, but for the past few months, nothing has been displaying.

    I’m NOT a coder and very limited skills to much about with css, so I would like to know if this is a WordPress update error or an error with theme update.
    I’m running free v Generate Press.

    Hi there,

    Nothing in the free theme should remove the images for you automatically.

    Can you try #1 here first to see if it’s causing by other plugins?

    Hi Leo.

    Thanks for the speedy response.
    The culprit is Jetpack v6.3.2

    I swear…every time Jetpack updates, it jacks with my site.

    I will say “whew” cause when I followed your link, and say wp_config_file…that meant going into files I HAVE NO BUSINESS being in…the computer was invented for the general public in 1975 and came with Pong installed…internet didn’t come along until 2000.
    I was 10 in 1975 so you do the math on my age now.

    About all I’m qualified to do is turn it on, point and click.

    Now off to either write Jetpack or just leave it deactivated.

    I’m having the same issue but I do not have (or can’t locate) Jetpack. Here’s a list of my installed plugins:

    Akismet Anti-Spam by Automaticc (deactivated)
    Contact Widgets by GoDaddy (activated)
    Disqus for WordPress by Disqus (activated)
    Hello Dolly by Matt Mullenweg (deactivated)
    Ninja Forms by The WP Ninjas (activated)

    I tried deactivating the activated ones one by one but the same issue persists. Please help me as I am new to this.
