Uploaded Images Are Rotated 90 degrees

    I have installed Resize Image After Upload, but the images I upload with the plugin installed are rotated 90 degrees so images that are portrait end up being in a landscape orientation.

    What could cause this and is there a fix?

    Hello. That other issue is closed, so I’ll comment it here.

    Wouldn’t it be possible to delete all EXIF metadata except the “orientation” metadata? That way, the images will be displayed the right way up, but at the same time, private data like GPS location info is stripped away.

    Hi flimm,

    The plugin has been designed to strip all metadata, and that’s how the big majority of our users want it. We appreciate your suggestion, but this won’t be possible for now, although we will take it into account for future updates.
