uploaded images are no longer displayed

Hi All,

My site went offline recently because of hosting “Server issues” but when it came back up only my theme icons were displayed, my inpost uploaded images appear broken. I am using the atahualpa theme v 3.5.3.

The FTP folder structure for an image in my uploads folder is the following:
/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/image.jpg

However on my site https://www.domain.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/image.jpg
appears broken

but if I remove the wordpress folder and paste the same address:
https://www.domain.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/image.jpg
the image is displayed

what should I do now? edit hundreds of posts to modify the image url?
IS there anything I can do to fix this?
