uploaded image not showing up

  • Uploading a photo doesn’t, of itself, make it show up. Uploading is the first step, the next is to insert it in a post. Usually that’s just a case of clicking “Insert in post” once the upload’s complete. Is it possible you’re just missing that step?

    I didn’t even get to adding a post yet.

    When I click “Media -> Library” to see list of images that I uploaded, it is supposed to show thumbnails. But they are not showing up as valid images. The link is pointing to “https://subdomain.example.com/files/2010/07/photo-150×150.jpg”. When I click one of these photos to edit, the photo is not showing up on “Edit Media” page.

    It’s supposed to be that address. the rewrite rules in the htaccess file handle it.

    I forgot to add “AllowOverride FileInfo Options” to httpd.conf in Apache. Sorry for the confusion.
