    I get this error when attempting any import. Note the period instead of a path or filename. My upload directory is set to wp-content/uploads. Could this be a permissions problem? Or is the period telling me that some variable is not set?

  • I’d start with permissions – make sure that wp-content/uploads can be written to by your server process.
