Uploaded Featured Image Not Showing

Does the issue persist if you use a different featured image, then empty the page cache in Super Caches settings?

Some images appear to uploaded to a folder that contains an apostrophe in the folder name. I think that might be causing a problem with the inline css for the featured image.

I think this might possibly be a bug for posts that contain apostrophes in their titles, but I don’t have access to a dev site to test it though atm.

The featured images in both of those posts don’t work because it results in the image folders having apostrophes in their names.

Those apostrophes prevent the inline css for the background featured images from working correctly.

You’re absolutely right. All of the problem posts have apostrophes in the title. Thank you for your help!

I’ve sent a message to one of the people responsible for theme so they can take a closer look at it.

It could also be a configuration issue with your server or media upload settings, rather than being a theme issue.

I don’t think those apostrophes should be in the folder names.

It looks like you’re using Jetpack’s Photon Content Delivery Network to host your images, and it will not work with apostrophes anywhere in the image file path. I’d suggest re-uploading your images without the apostrophes (or other special characters) anywhere.

If you temporarily disable the Photon module in Jetpack, then empty the cache in Super Cache, do featured images appear in the posts below?

I’m afraid disabling Photon and emptying cache didn’t work. That’s ok, luckily it’s only 8 posts that are affected, I’ll just go in, change the file names and re-insert the images. Lesson learned! Thanks again for all your help you guys!
