Uploaded a new theme – can’t access it

What I see is the F2 template header and design – not the design I used in Artisteer

The zip file in on my desktop – can I add a link so you can access?
Can I give you my wp access? thanks

Upload it to your web space like you did with the theme zip and just provide a link e.g.

https://www.thegenieservices.com/name_of_file.zip

don’t understand and don’t know how to do what you are asking –
Where do I go to upload it into my webspace?
Is this done through my file manager? my wp?

You can do it through the cpanel file manager if you wish. Click the upload icon, it has a folder and a green arrow on it.

Leaving work now, but will pick this up when I get home.

@geniebiz: Please be aware that this forum is staffed by volunteers. Under those circumstances, it’s unreasonable to ask people to let you know when they’ll “clock back on”.

esmi moderator – the member who was helping me told me they were leaving office and that they will pick it this up when they get home. Just wanted to know what time frame.

I suggest that you wait patiently and hope that they return soon. Or that another forum member chimes in with a suggestion. In the meantime, try reading Using_Themes.

If you open cpanel and go to your file manager, you should see an upload icon. Upload the zip file to /public_ftp/home/genie/ and then post the file name here.

thanks huggie – that was quick. Here’s what I did – I went into the themes and deleted all the themes. I then uploaded the event-planning-event-marketing theme and activated it. However, I dont see it on the appreances themes panel.
