    Hi there,

I’m using your free plugin and was able to succesfully upload all the reviews. Except for the dates. In my review overview all de dates are set to: 1 januari 1970 om 00:00

    I can’t figure out what’s going wrong.

I have followed your instructions on how to set the date:

    Comments Date = MM/DD/YYYY H:i:s e.g 9/6/2016 6:29:00
    Comments Date(GMT) = MM/DD/YYYY H:i e.g. 9/6/2016 6:29

I have the following dates in my csv file:

    Comments Date = 6-16-2017?11:58:25
    Comments Date(GMT) = 6-16-2017?09:58

But this is still giving the date: 1 januari 1970 om 00:00

I hope you can have a look at my csv file to see what’s wrong.

  • Hi @jeanp,

Could you please try with the sample CSV coming with the plugin and let us know if any issues. This seems like some date format issue.

    Hi Mujeebur,

Thanks for your quick answer. So looking at the sample that I have downloaded, these are these the correct date formats to follow:

    Comments Date = 8/31/2016 6:00
    Comments Date(GMT) = 8/31/2016 6:00

    I have the following dates:

    Comments Date = 2/27/2017?15:31
    Comments Date(GMT) = 2/27/2017?14:31

    But still the same outcome.

Question, in the netherlands we use the following date order: DD/MM/YYYY Does your plugin take into account different date settings in WordPress?

So currently this is the date and time in Settings > General: 05-07-2017 14:28:43

I have the feeling it has something to do with this.

    Hi @jeanp,

Changing your WordPress date format is making any difference.?
Let me know, so I can check accordingly.

I did test that. But no difference.

    One question:

If I export a review from one product with your plugin, can I then see from that csv which date format to use?

Or do I need to have a look in the database to see which date format I should use?

In other words, does you plugin change the dateformat during input from csv to database or visa versa during output to the export file?

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Hi @jeanp,

This is the date format that is using while exporting and importing. Y-m-d H:i:s. Sample exported date – 2017-05-25 06:53:07

    Hi Mujeebur,

This date format (2017-05-25 06:53:07) is indeed the same format that I find in the database and which I tested as well

When I open the csv that the plugin is downloading in a text editor, I get:

    “comment_ID”,”comment_post_ID”,”comment_author”,”comment_author_email”,”comment_date”,”comment_date_gmt”,”comment_content”,”comment_approved”,”comment_parent”,”user_id”,”rating”
    “3827”,”1286″,”Jan Pieters”,”[email protected]”,”2017-07-05 16:14:05″,”2017-07-05 14:14:05″,”test”,”1″,”0″,”24″,”5″

The strange thing I see are the “..” characters around the items.

Does this mean these characters need to be implemented during upload as well?

    Hi @jeanp,

    Your date format seems fine.
Please send the CSV to support.xadapter.com. Our support team can help you on this.
