• Hi,

Sorry for asking such a basic question. I have 4 file away folders on one page, each with a unique ID manager=on drawerid=”1″.

With each of these I have added an upload shortcode too. But I can only choose the root of the folder when trying to upload, even though I have created sub folders already.

Please could you help me with that? I’m also happy to buy your paid version once ready.

    thanks,
    Phil

    [fileaway base=1 manager=on drawerid=1]
    [fileup base=1 matchdrawer=1]
    [fileaway base=2 manager=on drawerid=2]
    [fileup base=2 matchdrawer=2]
    [fileaway base=3 manager=on drawerid=3]
    [fileup base=3 matchdrawer=3]
    [fileaway base=4 manager=on drawerid=4]
    [fileup base=4 matchdrawer=4]

The base settings are just an example. You might be using sub attributes, or whatever. The rest is how you want to do it.

The matchdrawer attribute in fileup should match the drawerid attribute in fileaway.

Hi, I think I’ve followed your advise, but now the upload button disappears. Maybe a theme issue, but they do recommenced your plugin.

I stripped it back, just to one, with no extra tributes and I still only get the top level folder.

I dont know how this theme has implemented File Away. Those shortcodes are not native File Away shortcodes, so I’m afraid you’ll need to reach out to your theme developers for guidance on this.

Yeah, it’s the visual composer that’s doing most of that. I’ll try it in the native WP interface, though the FA Shortcode generator isn’t….generating. I guess again, it’s the theme. but i hope i can sort it with the stuff you gave me earlier.

    thanks, have a good weekend.

    Hi

Unfortunatly this doesn’t work either, i’ll go back to the theme developers.

    [fileaway base=1 manager=on drawerid=1]
    [fileup base=1 matchdrawer=1]
    [fileaway base=2 manager=on drawerid=2]
    [fileup base=2 matchdrawer=2]
    [fileaway base=3 manager=on drawerid=3]
    [fileup base=3 matchdrawer=3]
    [fileaway base=4 manager=on drawerid=4]
    [fileup base=4 matchdrawer=4]

    thanks,
    Phil
