    Hi,

I’m getting the ‘ERROR: Google Drive upload error: Operation timed out after 15000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received’ error today.

    It’s worked fine previously.

This looks like a network issue perhaps, I’ve asked my host, but they want a Google Drive ip address to run a trace to ?

What can I give them ?

    regards

    Ian

    Hi Ian,

Thank you. We were able to reproduce, find + fix the issue.

The cause was as follows: the Google Drive SDK did not identify the fact that unless we specified a maximum number of results we wanted to see when listing files in a folder, then the default was 100. This meant that when UD asked to see all files that match its filename pattern, if there were more than 100, it would fail to see them. We’ve now fixed this by making sure that we loop until all the results are known.

To get this fix on your other sites, you can…

    1) Wait until Monday’s release of UpdraftPlus 1.9.64, and update

    or

    2) Update to the development version – https://updraftplus.com/faqs/devversion/ – which is currently equal to UD 1.9.63 plus this fix plus a Slovenian translation. (It will still show as version 1.9.63 after installing – Monday’s 1.9.64 has some other tweaks too).

Thanks for being so helpful in assisting us in nailing this.

    P.S. Earlier, you said…

If it helps I noticed that it wasn’t finding any files older than 2 days after about the third day, so probably only about 60-100 files in there at that point.

    Spot on!

    Best wishes,
    David
