Upload Theme Button not working

  • I am trying to upload a theme – however nothing happens when I click on the upload theme button??

    I went to themes – and if I click on any theme Details – then nothing happens as well.

    It feels “as if the system is hanging” – no error messages or anything.

    If I go to Site Health Status – then gives me the message “Results are still loading…”. If I go to site health info – then the “Directories and sizes” section has a turning “wheel”.

    If copy site info to clipboard – it then says “Results are still loading…”

    Would appreciate any assistance – as driving me crazy ?? It really feels as if “hanging”

    I am using WP version 5.5.1

  • Hi. I don’t know if it helps but you could try to upload the theme manually via FTP.

    It could be that you are experiencing some JavaScript errors. Start by checking for plugin conflicts.
    Temporarily disable all your plugins, clear the browser’s cache and try again, if the button works, start enabling plugins one by one to see which one causes the issue.
