Upload Sermons Stored on Amazon S3

    I am trying to update our website with the Church Theme Content Sermons plugin via a theme we recently purchased. We were using the Sermon Browser plugin which is no longer supported. We have all our sermons stored on Amazon S3. Is there a way to get all these (over 800) sermons into the Sermons plugin of Church Theme Content without retyping all the URLs of our sermons?

    I’m sorry, there is currently no importer / converter for Sermon Browser to Church Theme Content. There are some post type converter plugins you can try:

    I have not tested these but what they should do is convert the blog post type (which I believe Sermon Browser uses for sermons) to the Church Theme Content plugin’s sermon post type. I am not sure if these let you switch the taxonomies (categories) and I do not think they handle fields, so that would probably need to be manual work.

    You can copy/paste Amazon S3 URL’s rather than typing them.

    Another approach might be to export an XML file, edit it, then re-import it. Or, to try a CSV import/export plugin.

    Hi Steven,
    We have been using the WP Church theme for several years now. We need the ability to sell different products with different checkout options. i.e. Sermons, Scholarship tournament registration, Women of Purpose workshop, etc. We are currently using WP eCommerce but it does not give us the flexibility we need. I did some research and found Woo Commerce and WC Vendors but soon learned that Woo is incompatible with the church theme and I had to restore my site because it got corrupted once I activated Woo. Do you know what ecommerce plugin I can use with Church theme to create a multi-store situation? Thank You, Melody P.S. The site is calvarybc.org

    Hi Melody,

    This plugin only provides post types, taxonomies and fields for themes to use (the theme presents the content). It does not have anything to do with WooCommerce.
