    Hello,

I want to put on my blog an upload so that my visitors can upload their images. How can i do that? Is there a plugin for these or it can be done other ways? Thank you.

  • well, you can allow your visitors to be contributors if you want….then they can make their own posts with photos in them.

Or, you can use the cforms plugin which allows users to upload files to your server. You can specify what types of files

yes, i want people to upload files on my server. Can you tell me the full name of the plugin? Is it cforms plugin? Do you have a link for that? Thank you.

P.S.: At a brief search on Google i didn`t find an upload plugin named cform. Can you help me?

if you googled cforms its the first result you will get.

    I just tried it

I use cforms to allow DJs to upload music to my website, so I know it works well once you set it up

I can use this plugin clean, only for upload? I don`t need any other functions from it?

    I have found his features:

File attachments / Upload, fully configurable per form

    Yeap.

yeah, the plugin is actually designed to make forms on your website.

so basically you make the form, and one of the fields you can include is file uploads. So you make the simple form, then you make a page on your blog (I called mine uploads, easy eh?), and put the form on it and users can upload stuff.

Here, take a look at mine

    https://www.rvoodoo.com/uploads/

When someone fills out the form, they can pick the file off of their computer. Then when they click submit, I get an email telling me the info they filled out in the form, and the file goes to the directory on my server I set up

And the directory from the server has to be readeable,777, no? You can set up a specified directory for uploads, no?

Uh..I can’t recall the exact settings, I set mine up over a year ago.

I do know that you can specifiy your directory tho, that’s for sure. Ive got mine going to a music folder

If you have any questions or problems with the plugin, go to the forum on the website you got the plugin from, the developer is really good about answering questions
