Upload of pdf does not work

  • I am trying to upload a 9K-pdf with 3 pages, and it is taking forever. There is no error message, just “Processing PDF. Please keep this window open” – but it is never coming to an end.

    I am using WP version 4.3.1 – may this be the problem?

    The Server Environment settings seem to be ok:

    Is uploads directory writable by web server? Yes

    it wasn’t actually resolved: but i uploaded jpgs instead of pdfs, then it worked.

    Thank you for the quick reply. I too ended up uploading images.

    This approach is not desired as it creates more files to manage in the media.

    But without any response to a possible solution – uploaded images will have to do for now…
