    Hi,

Is there a way to upload normalized CSV files to TablePress?

    Here is the scenario:

We would export data from our web portal into XML or CSV. Since TB accepts CSV files, I was wondering if there is a way to upload normalized CSV files to TP via S/FTP. There would potentially be 5-10 normalized files.

Another question is: are you ever going to implement an XML file upload?

    Thank you,
    Chris

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Yes, doing this with CSV file is possible. To automatically update/import the file, you can use the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/table-auto-import/

At this time, I don’t have plans to implement an XML import, as it doesn’t really bring much benefit, in my opinion. Using JSON as a defined format is superior here, I believe.

    Regards,
    Tobias
